Where to find work as a stay at home mom…

Word of mouth has done wonders for me! I have a client currently that I’ve been working for about 10 years. He is a physician and I handle some input of notes, manage his small side-business, and his banking needs. If I’m ever looking for work he, among others, are the ones I reach out to first. Even your close friends may know of someone that could use the help for something small or large…… who knows, but you’ve gotta ask!

Next, I head to online avenues. I’ve actually had a few decent positions come from posting on Craigslist. And even though you may think Care.com is for babysitters or house cleaners I’ve found a lot of work, and long term work at that, on their website. I have even reached out to people wanting house cleaners or nannies and offered my help with the other items they have on their task list i.e. grocery shopping, organizing, errands, etc. and gotten some takers.

And always work SMARTER not harder! When I’m looking to make more money I don’t jump into finding NEW clients. First, think about the existing ones and how else you may be able to help. The company I Property Manage for didn’t know I would be willing to run to the grocery store for them too, and they were happy to pay me additional to do so. I ALREADY go to the store and I ALREADY go by their home so this increased my income without adding much time or effort at all!

  1. I’m not sure exactly why but this web site is loading extremely slow for me.
Is anyone else having this issue or is it a problem on my end?
I’ll check back later and see if the problem still exists.

  4. Hey! I understand this is somewhat off-topic however
I had to ask. Does building a well-established website
such as yours take a massive amount work? I’m brand new to blogging however
I do write in my journal daily. I’d like to start a blog so I
will be able to share my own experience and thoughts online.
Please let me know if you have any suggestions or tips for new aspiring bloggers.

    Appreciate it!

Building a website can depend on what all you need/want it to do…but there are a TON of videos on youtube out there to help! It has taken me a long time, but it wasn’t my main focus at the time. When I make the time, I get it done 🙂
There are some simple templates/layouts out there too that would help when getting started for sure! I just had a specific design in mind.
I’d check out free layouts on wordpress and wix, then start with some youtube tutorials on them. If you need more help or specifics let me know!
